This week, as I had suspected, the Bank Of England Monetary Policy Committee voted to hold Base Rate at its current level of 5.25%. I do feel that that much anticipated drop in rates will be forthcoming but not for a while and, in this week's vlog I discuss the reasons why it is felt Base Rate needs to be held steady for a little while longer.
Council Tax is another tax regime that we have all become very used to, but for many years now there has been a threatened overhaul of the policy. I also look this week at its origins, and measures that our friends over in Wales are trialling to update the system.
