We are so lucky to have an incredible team  at Maddisons Residential, so we are shining alight on each member of the team to share more about them and the role they have. This month we are introducing you to the ladies who are on the front line, our Property Marketing Coordinators, Angela Mulgrew and Caroline Banes. Their attention to detail, organisational and client communication skills are second to none, ensuring every task is taken care of to the highest standard.

Below we delve into their job roles and explore what they enjoy getting up to in their free time.

What does the role of Property Marketing Coordinator entail?

Angela and Caroline are responsible for the meeting and greeting of clients, either face to face from our office in the Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, or over the phone or email. Their role involves responding to enquiries, managing the diary, coordinating viewings, proactively gathering feedback from viewers and communicating regularly with vendors. It also involves organising market appraisal valuations so they are kept busy juggling several balls at the same time!

Getting to know Angela Mulgrew

Angela moved to Tunbridge Wells in 2015 having spent several years living in Australia with her husband and two children.  Angela decided to pursue her passion for property after a long career in the airline industry, joining Maddisons in October 2022.

“I love the variety of each day and the interaction my job allows with our wonderful clients. Selling property is an exciting, challenging industry. It can also be very unpredictable, so working with an experienced, confident team of agents allows us to meet any challenges head on,” says Angela.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

“Family time is really important to me. Having two teenagers and a boisterous Labrador keeps me busy. Travel is a huge passion and I love nothing more than planning my next trip!”

Dream kitchen or dream garden?

“Dream kitchen! Having just completed a renovation in my home last year, I finally have a kitchen I love.”

Getting to know Caroline Banes

Caroline joined Maddisons in April 2023, after changing sectors to work within the property industry.

“I have loved my first venture into the industry. It draws on the skills and experience I have developed over the years in hospitality, and I am delighted to have made the move. I greatly enjoy the fast pace and the interaction, and I enjoy developing strong relationships with vendors and buyers.

“Much of my role involves managing a very busy diary for our extremely busy team, which is not without its challenges, but it is always rewarding when it comes together,” says Caroline.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

“I have two teenage boys and spend most Sundays on the side of the pitch cheering them on which is great fun. I also enjoy long walks with my camera, usually involving some food and drink along the way, and if that is by the sea, even better! Being near or on the water is where I am happiest, so I can go out on my kayak or paddleboard.”

Dream kitchen or dream garden?

“As much as I love a lovely kitchen and enjoy entertaining, if I have to choose between the two it would definitely be a dream garden as I spend as much time as possible outside. I would also need a dream gardener!”
