Mark your calendars for Sunday 21st September 2025, as Tunbridge Wells hosts the eagerly awaited Hospice Run. Now in its 19th year, this beloved event invites everyone, from seasoned athletes to families, to participate in a day filled with fun and purpose. With only 1,000 places available, early registration is a must!

The Hospice Run offers four diverse routes, ensuring there's something for everyone:

  • Half Marathon (Start 9.15am) – A challenging course through Groombridge, Eridge, and Tunbridge Wells, ideal for experienced runners.
  • 10k (Start 9.45am) – A scenic closed-road route showcasing Tunbridge Wells' iconic landmarks, perfect for regular runners.
  • 5k (Start 10am) – Tailored for beginners, with training tips and support to help participants cross the finish line confidently.
  • Family Fun Run (Start 9.30am) – A light-hearted route for all ages, where participants can dress as their favourite Hospice Heroes, complete with water splashes and laughter.

Every step taken in the Hospice Run raises crucial funds for Hospice in the Weald, providing free care and support for those with terminal illnesses across Kent and East Sussex. Thanks to the Freddie Green and Family Charitable Foundation, all fundraising will be doubled up to £75,000, doubling the impact of every donation.

Participants will enjoy chip-timed results, an exclusive finisher’s medal, training plans, expert support, and an unbeatable atmosphere with live drumming bands and cheering crowds. The event promises one of the South East’s best closed-road routes, ensuring a safe and scenic experience.

The event takes place at Lower Common Cricket Ground, Tunbridge Wells, from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Whether tackling the half marathon, the 10k, the 5k, or joining the Family Fun Run, Hospice Run 2025 is about more than just miles – it’s about making a difference.
